Who is NewVoiceMedia?

NewVoiceMedia (NVM) is Europe’s leading provider of Hosted Contact Centre solutions: hundreds of sites and thousands of agents are using our technology every day. Our Contact Centre solutions are available at the click of a mouse and at a fraction of the price of traditional approaches. As well as competing alongside traditional hardware solutions with radical but proven technology, NVM has created new applications that go beyond the traditional business of the Telco to include CRM and Advertising. Our solutions are sold through our direct sales force and also indirectly by BT and others. Our telephony is currently hosted at five data farms within the UK and we have ambitious plans to expand overseas in the near term. The business is headquartered in Basingstoke*, Hampshire, England, with Network Operations being run from Torquay in Devon.

SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR (Torquay)

We are looking for a Systems Administrator to assist with the maintenance, structure and administration of the MS Windows Server networks from the Torquay office.  The role will include installing, supporting and maintaining servers, carrying out routine audits of systems and software as well as planning for and responding to service outages. 

The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree standard (preferably Computer Science) and possess a number of key skills including a working knowledge of operating systems including Linux and network health monitoring.  They should also have an excellent grasp of computer security and have excellent problem solving skills.

Knowledge of Visual Basic, C#, or Web Development would be an advantage.  The candidate should also be able to demonstrate knowledge of remote working methods, for example VNC or PC Anywhere.  Understanding of hosted call centre and telephony hardware would be advantageous.

We offer a salary of £20,000 per annum with excellent benefits including Private Medical Insurance and Pension Scheme.
