Chairman’s Conferencing Service

The Chairman’s Conferencing Service provides a lecturer/listener facility where one or more designated people are talking - and the delegates just listen. Delegates can be invited to talk by the lecturer when it is appropriate to do so. This is an extra capability of our normal Conferencing service where everyone can talk and listen simultaneously - in a lecture or webinar that is not desirable.

The service may be used as a recruitment line for your business, for lectures and staff training. We use it ourselves when presenting our webinars. It offers the facility to hold a presentation without wasting time and money on travel, therefore reducing your business costs.

Chairman’s Conferencing Service – Standard
The audio presentation line provides two lines to dial in on, one for the Controller(s) of the presentation and one for the participants. The Controller(s) has overall control of the presentation. The participants are muted until they press a designated key to let them into the presentation e.g Press 1 – Mute off.

A private room is available to Controller(s) for discussion that is not part of the Presentation.

The Standard service should be booked in advance as this is normally for occasional use.

Chairman’s Conferencing Service – Multi Room
In addition to the standard service, there are 100 conference rooms available on the same set of 4 telephone numbers and each room has its own Private room available to the Controller(s). For example, there can be a presentation in room 01 and another in room 04, with each having its own private room available and no one else would be able to hear the presentations.

These rooms are permanently allocated to you and may be used at any time. There is no need to pre-book your presentation.

  To turn mute off – Press 1
  To turn mute on – Press 0
  To mute all students – Press 8 (Controller(s) only activated)
• Announcements – to be advised of how many students are in the room Press 9 – Controller(s) only activated.
• Private Room Access – for Controller(s) only. Press 7
• Call Volume – To increase Press 6, to decrease Press 4
