NewVoiceMedia Adds Extra Hosting Capacity
A new hosting node went on-line during March that enables NewVoiceMedia to manage the ever-growing traffic passing through its ContactWorld platform. The new multi-tenant node is expandable to handle calls for up to 20,000 simultaneous agents.
NewVoiceMedia now has six nodes based on high-resilience servers from Stratus and HP. In the unlikely event that one of the servers goes down, the load can be quickly distributed across the other servers – none of which is ever operating at more than 75% capacity to maintain a safety margin for resilience purposes. New firewall technology has also been implemented to increase security and support PCI compliant operations.
An additional node dedicated to the financial markets is also scheduled to go live in a few weeks time.
