NewVoiceMedia grows international business by more than 500 percent

SAN FRANCISCO, April 30, 2015 - NewVoiceMedia, a leading global provider of omni-channel cloud customer contact technology, today announced that it grew its international new business by 528 percent in FY'2015, while continuing to expand its central UK base.

The vendor is outpacing the rapidly expanding cloud contact center market fivefold, and now serves customers spanning 128 countries and six continents, including MobileIron, TNT, RAC, Canadian Cancer Society, Quintessentially and Wowcher. NewVoiceMedia’s true cloud platform, ContactWorld, revolutionizes the way organizations connect with their customers worldwide, enabling them to deliver a personalized and unique customer service experience and drive a more effective sales and marketing team.

Named the world’s 11th top cloud startup, NewVoiceMedia recently opened offices in Copenhagen and Wroclaw, and expanded offices in San Francisco and New York to accommodate new growth. The company continues to attract new customers with exciting technological developments, beginning the last financial year by announcing the integration of its ContactWorld solutions with Salesforce1 Mobile. Working seamlessly with the Salesforce1 Mobile App, all solutions now enable field sales and service agents to connect with customers and prospects worldwide from any location, transforming the experience for both the customer and agent. In November, NewVoiceMedia announced that it had joined the Desk.com App Hub to help fast-growing SMBs leverage customer service to accelerate growth.

Over the past year, NewVoiceMedia was recognized by some of the most prestigious awards in the industry. The company was honored twice in the ninth annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service, and most recently by CRM magazine’s Rising Star and Service Elite awards for the market impact of its true cloud, omni-channel solutions. The latter celebrated Canadian Cancer Society’s use of NewVoiceMedia’s technology, which helped the charity raise efficiency resulting in a 225 percent increase in funding for its Relay For Life event.

Rapid growth and technology innovation led to NewVoiceMedia securing $50m in a Series E round of funding from new investor Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV), joined by existing shareholders Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP), Highland Capital Partners Europe, Eden Ventures, Notion Capital and salesforce.com. The investment helps the company accelerate its rapid international expansion, develop its portfolio of cloud solutions and strengthen its infrastructure, sales, marketing and professional services capability in North America, APAC and EMEA.

NewVoiceMedia also announced several new appointments over the past year to meet increased demand for its technology, including senior executives Kev Willers, Guy Sochovsky and Mark Fellowes. In March 2014, the vendor was named one of The Sunday Times Top 100 Companies to Work for and accredited with a two-star 'outstanding' rating, demonstrating its commitment to its employees and its focus on building a positive workplace. It has also received five-star ratings from all participating employees on career community Glassdoor.

Jonathan Gale, CEO of NewVoiceMedia, comments, “2014 was another year of incredible growth as we continue to drive innovation that will revolutionize the way organizations connect with their customers worldwide. Our world-class technology, market position and momentum have enabled us to attract the highest caliber people, who are excited about our vision to use cloud solutions to enhance the customer experience and drive stronger sales teams.  We look forward to continuing our growth trajectory ahead of the market.”
