How will I be billed?
There’s no bill from us.
Each caller will be billed by their service provider (BT, Orange…) at the end of their billing period in the normal way. Most service provider’s bills are itemised, so callers can see the amount charged per conference call at a glance.
How do I set up my own conference room?
This is done either via the link on the right, or
click here. It will only take a few seconds. We will give you a 6 digit conference room reference and a 4 digit pin— you tell the other delegates the numbers and off you go! There is no set up cost. Call us on 0800 280 2888 Option 3 if you have any queries.
Is there a limit to the number of delegates?
There is no limit!
The standard SpeakServe service allows 64 people to conference, and we can accommodate more if you let us know a couple of minutes in advance (so we can allocate call recording space on our servers). There is no charge for this service. Call us on 0800 280 2888 Option 3.
Can I record my conference calls?
Yes, and it is free! When you create your conference room you will have the option of activating call recording. All recordings will be sent to the email address you have provided during the set up process.
Can I personalise my conference room?
Yes, you can personalise a welcoming announcement to your conference room as well as personalising other features.
Can I use the service for international conference calls?
Yes, but international callers will need to dial in on +44 844 855 2110. The pin number and room number remain the same.
Most countries allow +44 844 dialling, but please check first by dialling the number from that country - if it rings, it works! If that number does not work then the delegate can use +44 870 084 1424. The cost is not defined by us, it is a function of the country and/or carrier, but will exceed 5p per minute.
Is your service secure?
Yes. When setting up you will be asked to submit a 4 digit pin number which should only be issued to your conference delegates. However, please note that calls are not encrypted.
Remember, conferencing is 'free', the delegates are just paying for a call to an ordinary 0844 number which costs 5p per minute.

The SpeakServe Conference Call service offers a number of enhanced in-conference features that can be activated at any stage of the conference call. These include:-

Press 2: Invite someone to your conference (see A)
Press *3: Start call recording (see B)
Press 4: Decrease volume
Press *5: To listen to these instructions

Press 9: Delegate arrival/left announcement OFF
(A) If you are calling from a fixed line number you will be connected to that person and will be given a free three minute call to tell them the conference room number and PIN code. To disconnect from your outbound call and return to the conference room – Press 0.
If you are calling a mobile number an SMS message will automatically be sent to the invitee asking them to join the conference and includes the dial in number, conference room ID and PIN code.
(B) Call Recording – Press 3 – to record your conference call for future reference. This will be e-mailed to the conference account holder. This can be played back using standard media players.
