Guy was appointed in February 2013 and brings more than 30 years’ leadership experience in the software industry to the Board. Currently a director at Guidewire Software, he previously served as CEO of MACH Group and Cramer and most recently, of banking software vendor TEMENOS.
Guy also held the position of executive vice president at PeopleSoft Corporation, where he led overall strategy and business development outside North America.
Chief Executive Officer
Dennis was appointed CEO in 2018 following a 12 month tenure as President & Chief Operating Officer. He has more than 25 years’ experience in international leadership, strategy and sales and marketing in the technology and financial services markets. Dennis previously held the role of CEO at Rant & Rave and has held senior leadership positions at eGain, Barclays, Solera and ADP.
Chief Financial Officer
Guy joined in 2014 to shape the organisational framework and deliver initiatives to support NewVoiceMedia’s high growth and operational efficiency, and was appointed Chief Financial Officer in March 2015. He previously held a number of senior executive positions at Syniverse Technologies and MACH, spanning finance, corporate development and strategy.
Prior to that, Guy spent 12 years within the investment industry serving at both Goldman Sachs and Warburg Pincus where he specialised in the technology, media and telco sectors.
Frank van Veenendaal
Frank van Veenendaal brings thirty years of pioneering SaaS and enterprise technology experience to the board. He served as Executive Vice Chairman of Salesforce® for three years and held a number of executive leadership positions at the company since 2001, during which time he helped drive the company’s considerable growth.
Prior to Salesforce, he served at several leading high-tech companies, such as Actuate Corporation, Interleaf, Integrated Solutions, Pyramid and Harris Corporation.
John Rosenberg is a general partner of Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV) and leads the firm's European efforts. John has over 16 years' experience in the technology industry, starting his career as an analyst in the technology investment banking group at Robertson Stephens & Company in San Francisco. His primary investment focus is in the software, Internet and financial technology sectors.
An experienced corporate executive with over 25 years’ experience in information technology, Fergus Gloster joined NewVoiceMedia’s board in 2009. Gloster was previously managing director of EMEA for Marketo, responsible for all revenue generation activities throughout Europe, including sales, marketing, customer success and renewals. Prior to that, he was a founding director of Salesforce’s European operations and, over his nine-year tenure with the company, served as senior vice president of corporate sales in Europe.
Mark is a co-founder of Eden Ventures and is one of Eden’s Investment Managers. He primarily focuses on opportunities within the telecoms market.
Before joining Eden, Mark gained considerable management experience through co-founding several telecoms companies, most recently Cramer Systems, which emerged as the leading supplier of inventory systems to the telecoms industry – acquired by Amdocs in 2006 for $425 million.
Chris is a partner at Notion Capital; he co-founded the firm in 2009 and sits on the boards of Brightpearl, NewVoiceMedia and Norland within Notion’s portfolio. Chris focuses on the Enterprise Productivity sector. Chris was previously at MessageLabs Group from 1999 as one of its first employees and held a number of executive level roles both within MessageLabs and Star, its sister company. Chris joined as Chief Commercial Officer where his responsibilities covered sales strategy for both Star and MessageLabs overseeing a period of fantastic growth for the group in terms of both revenues and employees.
Alex Ferrara is a partner in Bessemer’s New York office where he focusses on investments in the software and Internet sectors.
Alex’s previous board service includes Yodle, Shopify, OMGPop (acquired by Zynga), SelectMinds (acquired by Oracle), and Quadriserv. Alex was also involved with the firm’s investments in Pure Networks (acquired by Cisco), Skype (acquired by Ebay), SiteAdvisor (acquired by McAfee), Goal.com (acquired by Perform Group), Activ Financial, TeamViewer, and Gerson Lehrman Group.
Alex’s other historical investments include HootSuite and Alibaba Group. Earlier in his career Alex worked at Goldman Sachs in technology investment banking. Alex started his career as a software developer at Salomon Brothers and later worked as a derivatives trader.
Alex holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, and a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
Laurence is a partner of Highland Capital Partners Europe and primarily focuses on growth opportunities in the software and internet sector across Europe.
His prior board service includes BlueGnome (acquired by Illumina Inc), CSR plc (IPO), UbiNetics Holdings Ltd (acquired by Aeroflex and CSR), Insensys Ltd (acquire by Moog and Schlumberger), Adaytum (acquired by Cognos), Select Software Inc (IPO), Trigenix (acquired by Qualcomm) and Icera Inc (acquired by nVidia).
Laurence is also a member of the investment committee for Cambridge Enterprise Ltd that invests in spin outs from Cambridge University.
