Enterprise Business Representative

Role overview and responsibilities

Enterprise Business Reps (Sales Development) are part of a team, consisting of an SMB Account Executive (AE), Enterprise AE and Corporate AE’s.

EBRs are responsible for developing and qualifying revenue opportunities within their assigned territory. They work closely with Marketing, AEs and Pre-Sales in developing targeted strategies and messaging to drive new opportunities for NewVoiceMedia. Using our relationships, we educate prospects, qualify opportunities and generate pipeline to build revenue-generating opportunities within target organisations. Your role will be to: 

  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel the Sales Pipeline
  • Collaborate with and be mentored by assigned Account Executives from the sales team to prospect a target list of industry-relevant accounts
  • Conduct high level conversations and account nurturing with business owners in targeted prospect accounts
  • Achieve monthly quotas of Qualified Opportunities and Closed Business 

Skills & experience required:

  • Degree and/or qualified by experience
  • Passionate about IT and sales
  • Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
  • Goal oriented, self-motivated individual who is confident, thorough, and tenacious   

 

Desired experience: 

  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce.com). Demonstrated record in reaching and exceeding strategic goals in the technology industry, ideally with SaaS products

 

 Common character traits: 

  • Able to work collaboratively within different teams and with differing levels of seniority
  • Possess sound commercial judgement
  • Passionate about delivering excellence
  • Self-starting and able to self-manage
