If there’s any theme that’s appropriate for the single most massively attended tech event of the year, it’s connectedness. Dreamforce this year has been all about making the workplace more agile, mobile and seamlessly tied together. And one of the biggest and most exciting ways the enterprise is doing that is with wearables.

According to Cornerstone OnDemand’s recent report, 66 percent of tomorrow’s workforce (AKA millenials) are already interested in using wearable devices in the workplace. It’s an inevitable – and incredible – step forward. Just like cloud and mobility have unlocked totally new possibilities for what “going to work” could look like, wearable tech will empower workers in ways that were never conceivable before.

Salesforce launched the industry’s first initiative by announcing Salesforce Wear, a marketplace for wearable apps built on the Salesforce platform, and NewVoiceMedia was among the first partner apps chosen to be featured.
