IT Support Engineer

NewVoiceMedia global offices require an all-round IT professional to work in a busy & rapidly growing environment supporting the daily operations successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade support systems hardware and software on both Windows PC and Mac OSx devices as required
  • Set up new computing resources for users, and assist with requirements that are created in our growing business
  • Manage incoming service requests on a regular basis as well as assisting with helpdesk inquiries and desktop support tickets through ticket management system
  • Monitor the NOC system components and respond to warnings and alarms. Invoke appropriate escalations
  • Software Installation and troubleshooting
  • Microsoft Office 365 support
  • Install, upgrade and troubleshoot hardware issues
  • Remote user IT support

Required experience and qualifications:

  • Experience as IT Support or Systems Administrator
  • Experience in managing all facets of Windows Active Directory administration
  • Proven skills in following documented policies and procedures
  • In-depth knowledge of desk operating systems Win 7 - Windows 8, Mac Osx mountain lion - mavericks
  • Active Directory skills including user management, DHCP, DNS AND Group Policy and security
  • Ability to understand operating procedures
  • Good analytical skills
  • Can do attitude and good team spirit

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge/Experience in integrating Mac OS X with Active Directory
  • Knowledge/Experience in Mac OS X GPO & SSO
  • Knowledge in Apple VPP
