Reporting to the EVP Sales, the Sales Development Manager is responsible for the performance of Sales Development Representatives (SDR’s) who’s role is to follow-up on leads created through marketing lead activities and to create pipeline through outbound sales activities.

You will be involved in a diverse range of activities, which will include:


  • Daily management of the sales development team, ensuring that activity targets and SLA’s are met.
  • Use call recordings to identify and provide daily coaching to SR’s
  • Use call recordings and review of outbound communications to provide coaching to EBR’s
  • Outbound process development
  • Provide feedback to marketing concerning the quality of leads by source
  • Forecast regional meetings and opportunities by segment
  • Resource planning in conjunction with Sales VP’s

Required Skills:

  • At least 2 years of demonstrable experience in a SDR Manager/Team Lead role (Ideally within a SaaS Business or Software House
  • Relevant degree and/or qualified by experience
  • Possess the ability to prioritise work and be able to plan accordingly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Experience:

  • Experience of managing sales development teams and processes
  • Practical knowledge of recruitment and skills development in fast paced environments
  • Demonstrable ability to work cross functionally
